La muerte es un tema que solemos evitar pero que inevitablemente surge en nuestros cuestionamientos. ¿Qué hacemos cuando nos toca enfrentarnos a ella? Tres actores y un funeral, escrita por Edgar Uscanga y Daniel García Parra, explora las posibles respuestas mediante tres monólogos donde la vulnerabilidad y la introspección toman protagonismo.
«Es como si estuviera entre sueños y realidades».
En la primera historia, un accidente obliga al protagonista a observar cómo un segundo fractura la vida en múltiples posibilidades. Desde afuera, aprende que su vida no es tan perfecta como pensaba, y aprende sobre quienes se quedan cuando pasa lo peor y quienes están esperando para irse. «¿Qué debería hacer yo con este miedo?»
Mediante una profunda reflexión, el protagonista sabe que debe tomar una decisión. ¿Enfrentarse con la vida o refugiarse en la muerte?
La segunda historia empieza con una pregunta: ¿por qué le tenemos tanto miedo a la muerte? Un personaje nos invita a considerar la posibilidad de que no es más que una transición. No es un final, sino el comienzo de la verdadera felicidad, y nos promete que nos puede guiar por ese camino.
La tercera pieza es quizá la más íntima, un personaje tiene sólo quince minutos para despedirse de quien más ama. ¿Qué se dice? ¿Qué promesas se hacen? ¿Qué secretos se revelan?
«A veces aceptar no significa rendirse».
Cada historia, aunque autónoma, dialoga con las otras dos para construir un tríptico sobre la fragilidad humana y la necesidad de descubrir quienes somos antes de partir.
«No permitas que los miedos guíen al corazón».
La puesta en escena opta por una estética sobria que potencia la actuación del elenco, que cambia cada semana, y utiliza una iluminación que enfatiza los estados emocionales de los personajes, lo que concentra la atención en los dilemas que la dramaturgia propone.
Tres actores y un funeral abre una ventana para observar el misterio de la muerte sin adornos. Te invitamos a ver las últimas funciones los domingos a las 18h hasta el 30 de noviembre de 2025.
